Anna Ponegalek is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice group, focusing on defending insurance companies, landlords, and local governments in a range of civil disputes across the region. Anna represents clients in matters involving insurance defense, premises liability, and governmental liability, and is committed to delivering thorough, efficient, and practical solutions that help clients avoid financial and reputational harm.

Before attending law school, Anna worked for three years as a paralegal at a personal injury firm. That experience gave her meaningful insight into how plaintiff’s attorneys evaluate and build their cases—perspective she now uses strategically in her defense practice. She enjoys working on a wide variety of matters and continuously expanding her legal knowledge while helping clients navigate challenges and resolve problems.

Anna’s professional philosophy centers on integrity and accountability. She believes that what you do reflects who you are and strives to produce work she can be proud of while staying true to her values.

After Hours

Outside of the office, Anna and her husband enjoy spending the warmer months on their boat and cheering on their favorite football teams during the fall. She also loves caring for her collection of plants, playing pickleball, amateur birdwatching, and doting on her two rambunctious orange cats.
