Taylor Broun is counsel in the firm’s tax and wealth planning group. His practice focuses on estate and gift tax, wills and trusts, business formations and planning, financial powers of attorney, and other transactional matters.  

Prior to joining the firm, Taylor gained a wide range of experience in business and commercial real estate transactions, including representing businesses, banks, and government entities in the negotiation of contracts, sales and acquisitions, financing and development, and formation and structuring of legal entities.

Taylor graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in journalism in 2005. He earned his J.D. from Charleston School of Law in 2008 and his LL.M. from Emory University School of Law in 2013.

After Hours

Taylor resides in Athens with his wife, Kim, and their two children. In addition to spending time with his wife and children, Taylor appreciates fly fishing, hunting, golfing, hiking, and attending the University of Georgia sporting events, especially football.
