Austin Bennett

Austin Bennett is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where he assists clients with commercial disputes and other complex civil matters. He is drawn to litigation by the variety of issues each case presents and approaches legal issues by first understanding the broader business context, then working toward practical, efficient solutions. His particular interests include construction litigation and matters involving local governments, including the operational and liability issues counties face.

Growing up in a family of attorneys, Austin saw firsthand the meaningful impact lawyers can have on people and businesses. His experiences working at his family’s firm and observing client consultations and trials inspired him to pursue a legal career of his own. Austin takes pride in being someone clients and colleagues can count on, a careful listener who prepares thoroughly, remains attentive to the priorities behind each matter and gives every assignment the attention it deserves.

A native of Valdosta, Georgia, Austin enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, following the Atlanta Braves and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
