With a practice focused on commercial and civil litigation, Maggie Martin handles issues in a range of areas, including probate, local government and agribusiness. She also reviews contracts and advises clients on an array of legal matters that affect the day-to-day operations of their businesses

Many of Maggie’s clients run businesses in small towns and rural communities. As someone who grew up on a family farm, she has a heartfelt understanding of the perspectives and concerns of those she represents.

Maggie recognizes that the law can be daunting to those who are not familiar with it. Striving to make legal processes as client-centered and seamless as possible, she conducts her practice with a great deal of responsiveness and accessibility. She gets to know her clients well and is always mindful to alleviate their worries, simplify arcane concepts, and offer straightforward explanations using jargon-free terms. Prior to joining the firm, Maggie clerked for Chief Judge Bill Reinhardt in the Tifton Judicial Circuit where she gained hands-on experience in various stages of litigation in both civil and criminal cases. The clerkship helped her strengthen her skills in researching and drafting opinions. She enjoys creating compelling and persuasive legal narratives
