He also has gained a reputation for his ability in guiding closely held corporations and LLCs through transitions where co-owners need to part company, helping them forge a sensible path forward that preserves relationships and keeps the companies running smoothly. Whether his audience comprises clients, colleagues, judges or juries, Greg makes strong connections with people and ensures they understand his meaning by communicating with clarity and precision.

Outside of his practice, Greg served on the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia and has served on that organization’s Disciplinary Board, by appointment of the Georgia Supreme Court. He has also served as President of the Western Circuit (Athens-Clarke and Oconee counties) Bar Association. He continues his position as editor of Calendar Call, the publication of the General Practice and Trial Section of the State Bar. In addition, Greg previously taught at the University of Georgia Law School and has subsequently been invited a number of times to guest lecture there. He is also an instructor in local government at UGA’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government.
