Christina Ling centers her practice on general litigation matters and local government law, assisting city, county and state attorneys with legal actions brought against the public entities they serve. She handles a range of issues, including zoning disputes, conflicts about ordinances and lawsuits stemming from personal injuries on public property, among others.

Christina enjoys helping city councils, boards of commissioners and other governmental clients address the public’s concerns and craft practical responses that fix problems quickly and efficiently, by, for example, drafting a contract for a cement company to repair a town’s potholes. She uses her strong legal research and writing skills to her clients’ advantage, drafting persuasive arguments that enable them to prevail.

In the commercial litigation context, clients appreciate Christina’s dedication to protecting their best interests and business relationships. They gain confidence knowing that she has their backs and always strives to help them pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.

Christina draws on a broad knowledge base that she attained while working in previous jobs in various industries—including retail, hospitality and food—and in legal matters in both civil and criminal law. Before joining the firm, she advised and advocated on issues involving civil litigation defense, bankruptcy, tax law, estates and contracts.

As an undergraduate, Christina received a degree in criminal justice, and later in law school she completed the Legal Research and Writing program at Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. Christina credits her diverse work and academic experiences with her comfort in interacting with people from all different backgrounds, perspectives and walks of life.
