March 17, 2020 Update:

At James-Bates-Brannan-Groover-LLP (JBBG), the well-being of our employees, clients, and community is our top priority. JBBG is keeping a close eye on the spread of COVID-19, aka Coronavirus, within the state of Georgia and we continue to do everything in our power to keep clients and employees informed and updated.

JBBG offices are open and will remain open at this time. If either or both offices must close in order to ensure the safety of our employees and clients, JBBG will immediately do so. We are, of course, equipped with technology for situations such as this and are ready and able to meet your needs in the event of an office closure.  Our attorneys and staff are available by email, phone and video conference and stand ready to assist you. Rest assured, we are monitoring and adjusting all operations to ensure we meet the needs of our clients.

Some of the steps JBBG is taking to ensure the safety of our employees and clients are:

- Routinely and thoroughly sanitizing all public areas within JBBG facilities;

- Reminding employees of proper hygiene procedures to remain healthy and prevent the spread of illness; and

- Instructing employees to prioritize their health and the health of others in the office by remaining home if they are feeling unwell.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for our employees and clients, we are taking the following precautions and are asking our attorneys and staff to meet with clients via telephone or video conference instead of in person meetings. You may also arrange to e-sign documents and pay invoices via credit card.

Know that JBBG is doing everything in our power to provide the exceptional level of service of our clients expect. JBBG continues to monitor developments concerning the virus from trusted sources, including the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organizations (WHO), federal agencies/regulators, and state/local health agencies. We do not yet know the full extent of the impact of this unprecedented situation; however, we remain fully focused on serving to our clients and community.
