JBBG is thrilled to announce the addition of attorney L. Carrington “Carrie” Weldon to the firm’s General Litigation practice group.
Carrie’s practice focuses on general litigation matters including representing insurance companies, local governments, and businesses in a variety of civil matters. Carrie has extensive experience in a wide range of matters in civil and family law. Prior to joining James Bates Brannan Groover LLP, the primary focus of Carrie’s practice was personal injury, family law, and general civil litigation. She also has experience in employment law, adoption, wills and estates and guardianships.
Carrie is originally from Texas but has primarily resided in Georgia since graduating from college. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Bryan College, graduating cum laude in 1999. Carrie then earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2019, graduating cum laude. While at Mercer, Carrie earned a certificate in Advance Legal Writing, Research and Drafting; competed in three moot court competitions; and was a published editing member of Mercer Law Review Volume 70 on her article related to Fourth Amendment rights to privacy.
