Biography

Jonathan focuses his practice on estate and tax planning. He advises individuals, couples, and families on sophisticated estate planning strategies for minimizing tax liabilities. He also advises closely-held businesses on tax and business succession planning strategies as well as providing wealth transfer planning services for high net worth families and individuals.

In addition, he advises clients on corporate matters such as entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and governance issues. 

Jonathan is originally from Conyers, Georgia. He earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia in 2011. During his time at the University of Georgia, he spent time as a member of the varsity football team as well as being a part of the 2008 Sugar Bowl Championship team. He then received his Juris Doctor from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 2016 with a certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research, and Drafting. While in law school, he was awarded the State Bar of Georgia Award for the Outstanding Tax Student. Jonathan continued his education by earning his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in 2017.  

Jonathan enjoys playing golf and is an enthusiastic supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs.
