Erin joined James-Bates-Brannan-Groover-LLP as an associate in the summer of 2021 as part of both the Financial Institutions and the Tax and Wealth Planning practice groups.

Erin focuses her practice on financial matters, including issues affecting community banks and small businesses, as well as securities compliance and estate planning matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Erin gained experience in various areas of law as an associate in a domestic relations litigation firm and as a law clerk for the Piedmont Judicial Circuit.

Before attending law school, Erin earned her B.A. in linguistics and German from the University of Georgia in 2013. She received her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2017. While in law school, she was a summer associate for Jones Day in Frankfurt, Germany, and for the Securities and Exchange Commission in Atlanta.

Originally from Donalsonville, Georgia, Erin now lives in Athens with her husband, Austin.
