Christopher R. Conley











Chris joined James-Bates-Brannan-Groover-LLP as an associate in the spring of 2017.   Prior to joining the firm, he graduated from Mercer University with a business degree in economics and marketing. While attending Mercer, Chris volunteered at the Macon Rescue Mission and at the Make Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission preparing for the Cherry Blossom Festival. He was also involved in the Omicron Delta Epsilon, National Honor Society in Economics, Phi Kappa Phi and the International Academic Honor Society.  

Chris then graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in December of 2016. While in law school, he competed as a member of the Wake Forest Moot Court Board. In addition, he studied abroad in London during the summer of 2015, and in 2016, he worked with the Wake Forest Micro-Trade and Development Clinic in Nicaragua navigating local farmers towards U.S. business opportunities. 

Chris’ practice focuses mainly in litigation serving clients in commercial disputes. Chris has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in various construction, contract, insurance, and business matters. In conjunction with his commercial litigation practice, Chris has utilized his experiences abroad by representing clients against foreign parties in local courts. Chris is well versed in international service of process and the Hague Convention.
Chris is a graduate of the Leadership Macon Class of 2019, and he is on the board of Bike Walk Macon. Chris grew up in Jackson, Georgia, and he resides in Macon.
