William Noland devotes a large portion of his practice to serving as a mediator, helping parties and their attorneys resolve disputes outside of the courtroom. William is registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution in the areas of arbitration, general civil mediation, and divorce and child custody mediation. William routinely mediates cases involving business disputes, auto and tractor-trailer accidents, product liability, employment disputes, estate disputes, governmental and administrative disputes, and divorce and child custody.
As a practicing attorney, William represents individual, corporate, and government clients in matters involving civil commercial, and insurance litigation, as well as local government liability. William has a great deal of experience in defending clients who have been sued in accident cases involving serious injury or death, including but not limited to tractor trailer accidents, auto accidents, boating accidents, and accidents involving heavy equipment. William has also developed an expertise in local government law, particularly in the areas of tax appeals, zoning law, sunshine laws, law enforcement and civil rights, and elections.
William and his wife, Bright, live in Macon with their two sons. William is active in a number of community organizations serving children, including the Georgia High School Mock Trial Program, Macon Soccer Club, and the Executive Board of the Central Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
William has been recognized by Georgia Super Lawyers magazine and has earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest attainable peer review rating from this globally recognized organization. William was the 2016 recipient of the Macon Bar Association’s William Augustus Bootle Award for Professionalism.
