After becoming a member of the Georgia Bar in 2006, Jack Nichols began his legal practice in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. While in the Army, Jack worked as a legal assistance attorney, an administrative law attorney, and as a trial counsel in the military justice system. Jack spent the majority of his time in the Army serving in the First Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas.
Jack joined James-Bates-Brannan-Groover-LLP in 2010 and practices primarily in the areas of commercial and business litigation, with an emphasis on representing banks and other financial institutions.
Originally from Fort Valley, Georgia, Jack and his wife live in Macon. He is a member of Ingleside Baptist Church and the Rotary Club of Downtown Macon. Jack also serves as a Major in the Georgia Army National Guard.
